Filter Press:

Hydraulic filter press is the most common type of filter press.Compared with Jack filter press or mechanical filter press ,it uses the dydraulic station to sequeeze the filter plates,the sequeeze pressure as reach as high as 30 Mpa.This way the filter press can get a good filtering result,and make the filter cake as dry as possible.

The hydraulic filter press can also be devided into chamber filter press and plate and frame filter press,of which the main difference is the filter plates.

Plate and frame filter press:The chamber are formed by plates and frames placed on the filter press beam in turn.Usually the filtering pressure it can bear is less than 0.6 Mpa.Also it is generally used for  slurries has little solid particles ,and it is more suitable for fine particles filtering than a chamber type filter press.By adding a filter paper on the back of the filter cloth will make the filtering precision less than 1 μm.

Chamber filter press:The chamber are formed by same plates only ,chamber type filter plates are more thick than plate and frame type filter plates,the feeding hole is at center of the filter plates.chamber type filter press is ideal equipment for high content sludge such as wastewater treatment,mining,coal washing etc.It has the advantages of quick filtering speed,easy filter cake discharge ,high filtering pressure,drier filter cake and longer lifetime of the plates.This makes it more widely used and more easy to add the function of auto pulling plates.

Both plate & frame filter press and chamber filter press have two ways of filtrate flow ,one is the so-called open delivery presses, where the filtrate from each individual filter press plate flows into an open channel,and the other is closed delivery filter presses where the filtrate is discharged into a closed channel, for example passing through the interior of the filter press.

To get avoid of corrosion in acid or alkali environment ,we can add fiber glass or stainless steel coating for the filter press ,the anti-corrosion perfermance turns out very good .

For some solution such as solvent etc which is toxic and flammable ,this way it will need the CGR plates (sealed or closed filter plates ) and filtrate flow into pipes and being collected ,also the PLC and hydraulic system made explosion proof.this way ,the filter press will be totally sealed and there will be no leakage of the filtrate at all .

Also we have the super high pressure ,round filter plate which can bear  2.0 Mpa filtering pressure ,compared with the commin filter press,the filtering pressure is 0.6 Mpa-0.8 Mpa.This kind usually is requied in ceramic industry,marble/quartz/granite stone industry ,clay industry etc.

Remarks:

1. The Filtering area can reach as large as 1000 m2.
2. The standard filtering pressure of feeding is 0.6 Mpa,and 1.8-2.5 Mpa of compressing pressure,we can also customize the feeding pressure to 1.0 Mpa if required.If your materials are creamic ,marble stone wastewater etc,we have the special designed high pressure filter press of round plates.pls contact us for more info.
